In this article and video, I’m excited to show you around inside the new Luminar AI! I have a beta copy and have been playing with it for a few days and I’m pretty impressed so far.
So if you’re still undecided about whether to upgrade from Luminar 4 (or another previous version) or to buy it for the first time – hopefully, this will answer some of your questions and concerns.

What’s new in Luminar AI
I can’t cover everything in one video, so in this one I’ll show you the following:
- Speed improvement importing and loading images
- Templates (which replace Looks)
- Some of the new Portrait AI tools (Body AI and Iris AI)
- Atmosphere AI
- Composition AI
