Welcome to Luminar Neo – The Complete Course!
This course is best watched in the order the lessons are laid out for best success. You’ll be taken through the entire process of learning and using Luminar Neo step-by-step.
Note: If you see a black screen with the message “Sorry, Because of it’s privacy settings, this video cannot be played here” skip to this section below to read how to fix.
First, you’ll learn your way around the software, then you’ll see how all the tools work and what they do. Finally, you’ll see how it all comes together with the complete workflow for processing landscape photos, portraits, macro, travel, street photography, and so on.
As future updates to Luminar Neo software are released, additional lessons will be added to this course as well. That means this course will always be up to date and the added content is included for you at no extra charge. We’re so committed to this that after nearly 3 years with multiple additional lessons added as features and tools were added, we’ve re-recorded the entire course from start to finish.
If you don’t already own the Luminar Neo software – please use this link to purchase it and use discount coupon code DPM10 to get 10% off your entire cart when you checkout. We get a small credit and you’ll pay the same price.

Raw files and practice images
Practice images are provided so you can follow along with each of the lessons and techniques demonstrated. I encourage you to download and use them. You will find them on the page for Lesson 2 which is where you will learn how to import images into Luminar Neo.
If you’re brand new to Luminar Neo when you start this course, I recommend waiting until Lesson 2 before you import or start to work on the images. I’ll walk you through exactly how to do that when you get there.
I will also provide additional sample images of skies, textures, and bokehs for you to work with when you get to the lessons covering those things.
Your bonuses contain six Sky Replacement files, two Texture Overlays from my Caribbean Texture Pack, nine grunge edge frames, and two files from my Ultimate Bokeh Overlay pack for you to practice with during this course.
Photo Editing Terms Used Within the Course
Throughout the course, I may reference a photo editing term you may or may not be familiar with. It’s fairly important to understand the definition of the term or phrase if you want to truly understand how the tool works or what I’m describing within the lessons.

Video related questions
Black Screen – Video wont play – Sorry, because of privacy settings message. If you see a black screen where you would expect the video to be, with a message saying “Sorry, because of it’s privacy settings, this video cannot be played here.” here’s the explanation and solution.

Our video tutorials are set with protection so they can only be played within our website domain DigitalPhotoMentor.com. If you see this black screen, for some reason, our video hosting platform cannot communicate with your browser to confirm where the video is, so it displays the black screen. Something is “blocking” it from working.
It’s almost always a privacy utility you might be using on your browser that’s blocking it.
Do you use Bit Defender for example?
One student reported this back recently:
Thanks, Rob. The culprit was the Bitdefender Anti-tracking extension in MS Edge. When I turned it off, the videos played perfectly.

So ensure you check that, then refresh your browser and you should be good to go. Note, it’s possible you may have to clear your browser cache and cookies after adding the exclusion for this website.
Secondly, it’s possible you have your Chrome browser privacy set to “do not track”

The instructions in this Google Chrome Help article may help. Nobody has ever reported this to us, but I’m adding it in case it helps and saves you having to reach out for support.
