Just a quick note this week because school is now out and most people have a long weekend. So I figured you’d rather be out doing photography than reading about it. If you haven’t already grabbed a copy of my FREE ebook, 10 Challenges to help you take better pictures, now’s a good time to do so and start practicing! Just look for the big red arrow to the right, or the green box at the bottom of the page, and sign up there. Click on the link above to see what others are saying about it, and what they’ve learned as they work through the challenges.
In Canada July 1st is Canada Day, and in the US it’s Independence Day on July 4th. So there will be lots of fireworks. Here’s a few fireworks photos I’ve taken at both events. If you want to know how to shoot fireworks head over to my article on Digital Photography School, 15 tips for Successful Fireworks Photography.
If you’ve got some great summer celebration photos please share a link in the comments section below. Until next week I’ll leave you with this quote:

Until next week, keep shooting.
